DUI Consequences Can Change Your Life Forever

Have you been convicted of a DUI or find yourself driving after having a few beers and think that just a couple wont harm anyone? Have you thought about the consequences of being convicted of a DUI and the impact that it can have on your family?

You are not the only one that can be harmed when you drive a vehicle under the influence of alcohol. Maybe you won't get into a wreck or run someone off the road but if you get pulled over and placed under arrest how will that affect your family?

You can be out of work for a long time while you sit in jail or have court hearings and you will possibly get fired from your job. This can put a strain on finances and if you are already strapped for cash then this will only add to the problem. If you can't afford some of the things in life now how will you be able to after going through a hardship like this?

You will be paying fines, court costs, possibly renting an device designed to measure your alcohol level by blowing into it before you can start your vehicle. These things are expensive and you could have to rent one for months after a DUI arrest.

Another DUI consequence is having to pay for high risk DUI insurance. This could go on for years. Do you think you could budget for that and still pay all of the bills that you have now. Money problems can put a strain on marriages and personal relationships. They are the number one cause for divorce.

Think about all of these things before you get behind the wheel of a car after drinking alcohol. If this doesn't stop you from drinking and driving then you may have a serious alcohol addiction. If you can't control your drinking to the point that you have to drink and drive, you need help.

Talk to other people that have been in this situation and see how these DUI consequences have impacted their lives. I'm sure they will tell you if they could do it over again they would have never started their car in that condition. Think about these DUI consequences now and don't do something that you will regret.
